Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

Today I had a humbling reminder of the power we have in the production world to communicate feelings and trigger emotions with sound and vision.

My old schoolfriend, Juliet, dropped by the warehouse to say hello. We had a 6m screen built in prep for a job at the weekend, so we quickly wrote her a welcome message. It was simple for us to do, but she was completely overwhelmed by it and so happy.

I too became choked and was reminded of why I do what I do.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that whatever one’s role in events, whether as a performer or a member of the production team, there is no greater joy than when your efforts move people and make them smile.

Thank you, Juliet, and heartfelt gratitude to all our clients for giving us these opportunities.
