    Great sound that looks the part

    The essence of great sound is the choice of equipment and its placement. But equally important is how it looks. We go to great lengths to make our systems look good. Clean and well presented, in black or white with bespoke hides and custom rigging.

     

    The importance of system set-up

    The way a system is set up determines the impact it will have on the audience. This is an art. It can be assisted by technology, but the most sophisticated tool we use is our ears. 'Good sound' is subjective, but we've been putting smiles on people's faces for over 25 years, so we must be doing something right.

     

    Sound distribution 

    We can design systems that ensure even sound distribution throughout the event space, or be highly directional to create isolated pockets in different areas.

    Institute of Acoustics (IOA)

    Two of our team – Ross Sharples and Xavier Babington – are members of the IOA. We offer acoustic consultancy as a standalone service including retrofit, new build and change of use for corporate, private and public buildings. We also work with architects and interior designers to improve room acoustics and mitigate propagation in noise-sensitive situations.

     

    Noise management

    We can prepare noise-management plans for live events and liaise with licensing authorities to ensure that premises conditions are met.

     

    Bespoke design and build  

    Proper acoustic treatment – including sound absorption, diffusion, isolation and insulation – not only improves the listening environment and protects neighbour spaces from unwanted noise, but also looks great. We design and build all acoustic solutions in our workshop.
